Failed C/E light, Instrument cluster, and left signal return
All this week. It started with my mech tellin me when he was scanning that my c/e light wasn't wrking;maybe a burnout. Then several days later my guages began to intermediately go wacko. All but the RPM and MPH functions. So I pull the dash replace the 5 main bulbs just because and I switched the "fasten belts" bulb to the C/E light to cure the burnout and troubleshoot. I hook everything back and the clarity is great but still malfunctioning. I then read some more threads here and decided to go back in today because I hadnt sprayed the connections with the electric cleaner nor had I disassembled the the other 5 or so ribbon connections. So I did that I also tested my batt & alt w multimeter. I put it back together and still no C/E light and unit stilll malfunctioning also my left turn signal wont return automatically. I guess my cluster is sh :( ot, Right?

The CE light doesn't work? It shouldn't unless you have a code.
All the other gauges not working is odd. Usually it'* the three gauges off to the right that go bad. Fuel usually keeps working. I suppose it could be a bad cluster.

That adds a bit of complexity since they shouldn't be connected in any way. Please try and duplicate the situation and prove or disprove the blinker. I'd think that was a flasher relay.
