have checked the fuse box under the steering column and the fuses there appear to be good yet i have no dash lights.
the indicator for check guages lights up so know that i have some power/lights to the dash
radio light works
any ideas on where to check to get dash lights back?
and yes have turned the dimmer on the head light switch both directions and yes the interior lights come on when fully clockwise

Anyone know what years were effected for the headlight switch? I know of a TSB for the headlight switch or connector. Mine went out a couple years ago. No dash lights, and once in awhile, no tail lights either. You may not be effected by this, but its a place to start.

95 Seems to be the only problem year for headlight switch.

I think there'* a fuse for dash lights.
From there..I'd pull the radio and check for power from the lightswitch to the dimmer there.
