Default 1996 Bonny drl won't turn off and....

96 Bonny drl won't turn off I have to pull the fuse and that causes other poblems like no headlights at all. Also, during the night and maybe day at unspecified intervals it is like somebody lifts a door handle. The inside lights come on and the amber outside lights come on. They stay on for just a bit and go off. a little while later it repeats. This causes my battery to be sometimes dead...sometimes not. I'm thinking its possessed..exorcism?

Almost sounds like the headlight/park-light/dome light control is going bad.

After thinking about it, it is not m drl that wont turn off but he low beams (at night). It almost has to be the light switch. Do you think that somehow ties into the other problem of the park lights and inside lights coming on by themselves? Thank you for your suggestion. Do you have a source for a wiring diagram for that switch so I could check it?

All three are controlled by the same switch. I don't have a diagram, maybe one of the other guys here does . . . ?

If you can, go grab one at a junkyard. They don't fail so often that you have odds of getting another bad one.
