Default Who is running 255 x 45 x 18 tires?

trying to figure out if 255 width will rub on a 2000+ ssei. the 245x45 18s fit no problem. However they are about a 1/2inch smaller overall diameter than the stock size. I want a 1/2" larger overall diameter tire and a 255x 45 18 would be identical to the stock size of 235x55x17.......

So curious if anyone has tried a 255 x 45 x 18....before I spend $1000 on a new set of tires.

Hans, the Bullet and Cindy have had 255/50-17'* on our cars for years(over 100,000 miles on Cindy'* car)and the only time the tires(front) rub is when you turn it full right or left and hit a small bump. The rear tires never rub.

I just bought 2- 265\35\20 from ebay. When I get them Ill post about fitment. Im thinking that if they dont fit in the front, then they will go in the back.

keep in mind that your 20s, and his 18s might not all have the same backspacing either...
