Default where does black wax fall into the 3 steps?

next time i have some available time i am going to do a meguiars wax job.

my dad suggested getting a black wax to see if that helps out my extremely spider-cracked paint. where would this fit in in the meguiars 3 step system? does meguiars make a black wax? what other brands could i find this in?

or are there any other suggestions

here are pics from a previous thread showing the problems

I dont think meguiars has a black wax but I could be wrong as for where it would fit in where do you normally do the waxing :?: might be wrong on that one also though an black wax wouldnt help to much with some of them I woudlnt think "capable of hiding light scratches"

only black product that i know of is turtle wax black POLISH......i used it on a couple black cars and NEVER AGAIN!

your best bet would be investing in a random orbital polisher and get some PROFESSIONAL line Megs stuff......you will most likely need a nice cleaner, and a pretty agressive polish. top with any wax you like (but there would be no need for a CLEANER WAX).....just get something like megs NXT or gold class.........

so basically........its gonna be a full days project........i guess i'd even start with a clay bar, then cleaner, then polish, then at least 1 coat of wax

Any of the Black wax'* suck. They are for a car dealer and not for your own personal vehicle. It last maybe a few days and doesnt really do all that much. Dont waste your time or money. Buy the Meguiars cleaner/wax you'll be alot happier.
