Okay, I imagine this is going to spark some interesting results, but here goes:

Upon looking closer at my factory Gold honeycomb wheels, I noticed that quite a bit of paint is strating to flake off of the Gold colored section, and there is quite a bit of that nasty Inland Northwest winter crap just coated and baked on there from years of not being treated right, and the aluminum ring along the outer part is flaking quite a bit...

So my question is this, on a '94 Black SSEi, should I keep the existing wheels, and just repaint them with as close a match as possible, or should I look at getting some GP or newer Bonnie Chromies if they will fit? Any opinion is welcome...otherwise, why would I ask?

x2 I think those are my favorite stock Bonneville rims - even beating out the GXP ones (but not by much - lol).

If you can poweder coat them black do that, it would look SWEET. If you cant do that then get some of the chrome T-stars, those would look fantastic as well

I would go for a less popular 00+ wheel. Someone on this forum has the 20 spokes on an older Bonneville and it looks great. Believe it or not I get compliments all the time on my 20 spokes. No one ever notices the GXP gauges or pedals. :?

Swoopies = the five star chromies I see on the 00+??? If so, I may want the info, but shipping may kill the price...I was thinking orginally doing the 00+ chromed wheels, but if I do that, then I gotsta put some chrome accents on the car as well....Hmm...

The powdercoating idea wasn't too bad either, may have to play around on photoshop with that one to see how it would look...that'* a lot of black, though, can anyone say undercover unit? lol

I'll keep checking in...
