Basically a claybar will remove contaminates from the clear coat of a car's finish. However there are two schools of thought on this subject. Some say that the claybar pulls the contaminates out of the clear coat and others say that it just sheers the contaminates off level with the surface of the clear coat.

A claybar is the second step to doing a full Monty detail on your car.

there is where i got mine.. i need some more for the rear! cheap for what they do.. now i have to do for the front is take a nice clean rag and wipe them down

Those dust shields are cool....but...I'm wondering if they will hold in too much heat and cause the rotors to warp....they're vented for a reason.....and if the dust isnt being forced onto our nice rims....how does it escape with the dust covers on....

For really really corroded aluminum wheels try using a plastic brillo soap pad.
It worked wonders on the 26 year old T/A snowflakes. The previous owner never cleaned them. They were totally black and oxidized before I cleaned them and now they have their shine back. Luckily not pitted too badly.

well the shields are vented some they have slits in them to aloud heat to escape. i've had them on for bout a month now... ill let u know if any thing happens.. doubt it would. I have seen them on Mercedes Benz also. we'll see!

have had them on mine for about 2 or 3 months now and I love them.
Takes a little getting used to the look but after a while you don't even notice them.
