For those keeping up with the ever-evolving state of my SSEi, I stated that I had found some Impala 9C1 (those would be cop car spec) rims, complete with the centercaps, all for a measly 30 bucks and change, some time ago. I posted this picture not too long ago...



Originally, I had wanted to do silver....but for some reason, it didn't look as good as I had hoped.

Then someone noticed I had experimented with white on another rim...



...and thought it looked good. Well, after painting and massive amounts of clearcoat, I bring you probably the only white 9C1 wheel in this world...



i didn't concentrate too heavily on the sides, since I still plan on putting a trim ring around the perimeter. But you guys get the idea

Oh yes, I forgot to add that I would be changing out the design on the center cap. i want to keep the carbon fiber background, but I would probably add the Pontiac Indian Head, or something of my own design.

I'm gonna have to go with the color matched aerolites. The Chevy rims look more suited for spares, or slicks.

Slicks/winter tires only IMO..

Personally I don't really like the aerolites either. Chrome would look way better. Like some 17" 5 spokes. Or tstars.
