Waxing plastic
Is it OK to wax plastic? I've worked on the GA all weekend doing a claybar and wax, but I never touched the plastic parts of the car. I was using Meguiars Gold Class liquid wax. Would that not work on plastic? Is there another solution?
what do u mean by plastic? painted plastic like most bonneville fenders.....or like the black "pourous" side panel moldings on some cars? if you get any wax on the side panel moldings......a product like mothers back to black should work fine.....
otherwise u can wax painted plastic just fine

I got some wax on my tail lights on my 97.... not good... it'* white and pastey.
Tried to wash it off, and tried vinyl cleaner, helped a bit, but didn't get it all off.
Going to try Mother Back to Black to remove it.
