I've got a big problem! It has snowed here the past couple days, and today stuff melted. I had quite a bit of snow on my car, and now the whole front part of my headliner is damp. Here'* some pictures, you can tell water has been there to make the stains in the headliner



It is extremely wet in the lower part ahead of the dome lights






What'* wrong? Have i got a bad seal or are my sunroof drains plugged?

Looks exactly like mine after the last snow.

In my case, the windshield was leaking causing the problem.

how does the sunroof glass compare to the roof line? flush? if it is, and your sunroof seal looks to be in good condition, your drain lines are probably plugged or have come off completely.

to drop the headliner:
remove the A, B & C pillar trims
remove the visors
remove the sunroof trim ring
remove the oh ***^ handles

at this point the headliner is only held in by the velco straps and the door weatherstriping. if you work it around the headliner you shouldnt have to remove the weatherstriping.

might be better to remove the front seats to be able to get the headliner out without creasing it. you will probably get it out one of the rear doors. you will have to bent it slightly, be careful.

if you don't want to remove the seats and the headliner you can still drop it and inspect, but it will be in your way, a lot.
