Heh, I think both would be a bad idea.

It'* raining and nasty outside right now. I'll attempt this tomorrow.

Well, it looks like the insides of the lights are corroded or something. The reflective silver has black spots on it that won't wipe away, so I'm thinking the previous owner of these corners put something in there to mess em up. I don't know what to do to restore them other than leaving it how it is and hoping people don't pay too close of attention to them. Even the silicone sealing looks like crap.

Oh well, that'* what I get for buying used stuff.

Something to try that should be really cheap - Go to your local WallyWorld or craft store, and get yourself a silver leafing kit. It'* made from aluminum (of course), is pretty shiney if you get the "new look" type, and should be virtually indistinguishable from the original inside a marker light.

Pop 'em open (you said the sealer is shot), leaf 'em, glue 'em back, enjoy!!

They are sealed right now, but whoever did it made it look like crap. I guess I could always try that if I decide to pop em open.

It almost might be easier to sell these corners to someone who wants to deal with them and make a few bucks and the just get some new ones on eBay or something.

Oh, that sucks. :(

Nothing'* more of a let down than when you are ready to do a mod, the parts come in, you're juiced, and then you find out the parts don't work.

I can deal with it for now even though it bugs the hell out of me. From a distance they look great. You have to get close to actually see how bad they look.
