Default unique whips

Hey guys, I didn't know if I should of put this in the Detailing Section so I decided I'll put it in here and if anything they'll switch it.

Well anyway, I was watching Unique Whips about a half hour ago and they were painting the dash a different color. They first primed it and then painted it. Now they were using a spray paint can. I was wondering if anyone would know what the brand name is. I would like to paint my dash and prime it but don't know what is good to use.

SEM makes many paints for interiors, I'd try that line of products. I'm not sure how many colors they have. What color were you thinking of painting yours?

Moved by the way...

Thanks for moving it.

And I was thinking maybe of matching my headliner or if I should redo a black but maybe a lighter shade

I'll second SEM. Their line of interior paints are designed for flexible plastic/vinyl application. Many of us use their products on the interior.

Well a few members have made pillar pods for their gauges and have used the SEM paints to match them to their interior. A search on that should turn up some pics.

BillBoost has made several different switches for garage door openers (homelink) and has used these paints along with the texture coating to match the interior also.

They even carry the texture base, so that the texture will match on new items you make, like pillar pods, etc.
