i would keep the red lenses in with the red car... i think the all-clear would stand out too much for you and look tacky.. you would be best off just clearing the ambers

You do have a point there....we could always photoshop a pic of cleared tail onto our cars to see how they look.... I was thinking that the red is a dif shade from my car....Hmmmm....

nice this must be one of the most asthetically pleasing mods that can be done to the exterior of the bonnie. that looks so nice...almost like it was supposed to be like that.

I think this looks absolutely phenomenal!!! I'd be too afraid I'd screw something up if I tried this though, even with the informative write-up. Great job!

Joe.

I'm contemplating taking the lenses all apart and nightshading on the inside before putting everything back together. I'd nightshade everything but the backup/turn signal area (that is normally cleared)... And I'd leave the red lenses inside...

BTW, those LED lights look like they worked great. Hows the angle brightness. Could you take a picture from the side a bit?

yeah...i was wondering the same thing. LED'* are definitely directional. i have played and tinkered with LED'* since I was little...i used to figure out ways to put them into my lego cars as headlamps and taillamps...even installed the appropriate resistors between the battery packs and the LED'*...
