well the gel stuff from meguiars does sling off if you do not wipe it down after you apply it (if there is too much on the tire) but what I found out is if you use the little sponge applicator for tire shine (like $2) it goes on nicely and you dont have the extra stuff fly off.

also if you have the problem of tireshine flying off on to the body, drive around the block and wipe down, that way it doesnt all fly off, the excess just collects in lines of extra tire shine and you can wipe it off.

If anything you put on your tires is slinging off and hitting the car, consider the amount you are using.

They've tested this stuff not to cause any slinging issues. If you have them...same some money and apply less...go back if necessary...but if there'* a river of tire goop running down the tire...it'* simply too much.

I use a curved sponge to apply. After all 4 are done I go back and wipe again with the sponge.

I´m also using meguiars endurance tire gel and it lasts for a long time - I like it.
Further I´m using the tire foam from ArmorAll after washing the car when the tires were coverd with some mud or something else.

For very muddy tires I learned that a gong brush and regular cleanser works wonders. Takes the brown right out. Wet them down..hit tire with top of cleanser container..scrub around a couple times..rinse..ahhhhhh

Then once dry..I got curved sponges on handles from the dollar store Works great.
