Default to tint or not to tint: the 95'* taillights

If you were buying this car off the street, would you want tinted taillights to cover up the delamination, or would you want the original stock tails showing, even though they are not that pretty.

If they were tinted correctly then I would prefer the tinted tails. I would never run a car that had tails with that much delam. So for me it would be new tails or tint.

for the resale purpose only. I voted no.
like Pat said. its only us "car" people that want tinted tails. if I was also not one of "us" I would not want them.

to us they look delamed and bad. to others, they may not notice.

Most buyers won't notice the difference as long as the tint isn't too dark. Lightly tinted will look far better to the buyer than delam.

Pretty even poll so far, but I decided to return the tint and clear and save my money. I agree that the person buying it probably doesn't want them tinted.

I always hove my old tail lights, which are tinted, if you ever want to do a test fit to see what it looks like. They do have messed up mounting brackets so and I may need them for templates later on.
