Default Tail light poll on 00+

I have been trying to find a chance to clear at least the yellow part of my tails, and with a winter storm approaching tomorrow thats expected to dump atleast 10 inches on us, I figure now is the best time. I want a general concensus of what everyone thinks would look best. BTW my Bonnie is black
Should I do
Or this I know it sucks but Im not that good with paint

If I do tint the rears it will definitely be the bottom of the two. The first one would be alot of work, is almost too much.
BTW, that'* my car. Here'* a pic someone did for me...

I saw these another topic and they were perfect for giving a visual of what I was thinking about doing, so I borrowed them

Does that mean you're giving them back when your done?

I've decided "I'm gonna clear that orange right out of my tails" this summer. I'm not tinting.... I don't need the hassle from the cops and the inspection station. As is it'* a risque move for me not to run a front plate but run my Pontiac cover.

Keep in mind, if you tint them and get hassled, that'* an expensive fix....

until someone figures out a good way to make those 4 dimples disappear when you clear the center section, I go with option2

X2. Picture one is very deceiving (photoshop) because it will look MUCH WORSE than that if you actually cleared the entire center piece. I'd go with option 2, just don't tint it THAT dark of course. I'd probably do a light tint over the entire tail section though, so you don't have an edge running across the middle.

I was considering tinting mine, since I never had an issue with cops when my 94'* were tinted (dark). But I like how they look untinted and cleared:

After seeing Turkaloos, i am going all clear, with the possibility of tinting the bottom later on. Thanks for your opinions, pics, and the link

From experience, just do the amber. It is way to much of a hassle to prep the center trunk lid for the future. Save yourself the money and heart ache and just remove the amber.
