How hard would it be to install another Bonneville'* stock T- Handle shifter-**** to replace my stock cobra-head ****. Would it just slide on? Are there any specific years that would work better?
It should work just fine, but the shift boot would be a little short if I remember correctly. Just pull off the pin on the front side of it with a screw driver and then replace it with the T-handle
The boot is guled to the underside of the center console. It'* a pain to pull off and near impossible to glue back on .
If you'd like I have both shifters laying around and can take pics. BTW..the T handle is longer and requires less boot. Therefore you could swap to a T w/o having any issues. It'* the cobra head that is shorter and needs more boot.

Ah ok, I gotcha, easier to switch from cobra, not to cobra. Anyone have a T handle not in use and would like to sell, or have any idea how much I would pay at a yard for one? Also, are there any variations in the styles of T handles from year to year?
Bill - Sure if you don't mind taking pictures that would be cool. Thank you much.
