Default swapping fogs to AE'*..... question on orig. brackets

I've known that something was wrong with my passenger side fog light ever since I bought the vehicle. Tell tale sign was that the light was rotated about 15 degrees and it was recessed further back than the driver'* side. Well it finally burned out about 6 months ago....

So I picked up a set of Angel Eyes via Amazon to replace the OEM'* with.

As I get to the passenger side light, I notice that the OEM light is busted up pretty good.... tabs are broken off the top and it'* being held on by duct tape. :?

Not a problem..... or so I think.

I cut the tape off and realize that the adjustment screw at the bottom of the bracket is rusted severly, bent, and adjusted way too far in. So I'm thinking instead of wasting time fixing this bracket, will the brackets on my parts car (97 SSE) be the same? The reason I'm asking instead of looking is that I dont want to climb under it unless I have to.

Also, since it looks like the holes in the AE'* brackets are the same as the OEM'*, could I simply use those instead with no drilling needed?

Thanks for any answers in advance....
