Default SSE to SE

I am getting ready to repaint car same color, love the dark red. Qestions can bumpers, side skirts from SSEI or SLE fit on a SE. I think they can, just looking for input and what else is needed to make swap. Lights and so on. also what about door panels with compents (6 1/2 adn tweeter) of ft in door panel swap or I am out of luck. Thank is advance. MIke

As far as the exterior trim, I think the bumpers are swapable, but the door molding I don't think will fit, at least '95 SE door trim will not fit on a '93 SSEI door. My neighbor has a '95 SE, and the pass side front door was dented pretty bad, so we were going to swap on the front door from my parts car.

We found that the SE trim is about 1/2 to 1 inch shorter then the SSEi trim that my parts car had... when we tried to put the SE trim on the SSEi door, the clips for the molding on the door were to high for the SE trim. There are small studs welded on the door that hold the clips on, so without some cutting, welding, and paint, it would not work.

I know that this is trying to put SE trim on a door from an SSEi, but I believe that you may run into the same problem trying to put SSEi door trim on an SE.

As far as the interior door panels go.... I can't really say for sure, but I believe that they are swapable, the door panels on my car house the speakers and everything, so they should just swap right in, someone else will chime in with a for sure answer though.

I was mainly using the bumper and rocker moldings. Anyone else know about door panels? Really want the frotn stage for system.
The rest of the car is great I am going to make a air intake vent on hood area. I am not sure where yet, want to make the car look like 'Not riced out".

It will look stupid if you don't do ALL the pieces. The trim lines and grooves do not line up between the SE and the SSEi/SSE trim. The rocker panels won't look right either, without the heavier lower door cladding and matching bumpers.
