If your gonna spend the money at least go a size up so it looks different, or even 2 sizes your personal choice, when i purchased my rims i looked at the cost between 17"s which was 340 a rim and what i chose was the 18"s which was 390 a rim, i thought to myself go big or go home, thats my opinion on how i made my decision, I think with the color of your bonne a gunmetal color would look really good but you have some good pics of some choices, best of luck. To answer some of the questions that was indirectly asked. I'm not one of the hardcore groups that seek speed, max horsepower, etc. I'm one of these groups that wants the car to look bitchin' but still perform admirably without major modding.

Trip, 340-390 dollars EACH dude you crazy. Yes I would love to up a size but I worry about wasting my tires with like 90% tread left. I hope you can see how I'm between a rock and a hard place. If I get another 16" I save money by not having to buy larger tires but I could also lose money by having the rims unmounted for the winter then summer rims remounted and balanced twice a year. or I could buy a 17" set and save money by not having to remount and balance twice a year, both sides are so tempting but both have cons too.

The only question you should really ask, if you are planning to keep your car for 10 years or more, is if they will still be producing tires for whatever size wheels you select.

Sounds like a funny question but when I spent $3000. on a set of wheels & tires 20 years ago, I never would have thought that I would have trouble finding proper size performance 15" rubber 20 years later.

So are you guys trying to discreetly tell me to dump the 16ers and go one size bigger or more? Because if that's your goal, it is slowly working on me. I just might go one size bigger to 17ers. I'm sure those size tires will stick around for a long time seeing that the size are the norm on all new cars. Just maybe I will do that, I'll have to fight with my parents to convince them I need 17ers. Or not tell them at all, actually my dad is on my side for 17ers. My mom is the enemy, typical...

Okay I'll get 17ers, I'll just have to save money a bit longer.

Bad news, I lost the war on 17 vs 16. I'm stuck with 16s for as far as I can see, I'm hoping that my ma will change her view on them in the spring. But for now I'm stuck with 16 and I live in Ohio so it'll be a while for me anyway. Today it was 55-60 degrees outside, odd especially two days ago it was 20. Stupid Ohio.

Sorry guys, looks like the 16 will have to solider on my car.
