Well, its kind of embearessing. I used some Clear Silicon RTV to fix the leaking trunk problem and got some on a towel. Then used the same towel to dry off the car after I dumped water on it to make sure the leak was gone. Therefore, I proceeded to get the adhesive all over the spoiler, rear applique and light housing. I managed to get some of it off, but now in the daylight it looks really bad.

Well, I tried first just to rub it off with a clean towle, that only made it spread. Then I tried to use a little water, and that turned it into an adhesive/water mixture which really really sucks. Im gonna try a variety of things in a little while to do what I can. But at least I know there won't be anymore water getting into the back applique.

Default Thanks

Thanks, I'll try to pick some up tomorrow as my attempts to get it off have not been successful. Worse yet, my spare tire well is FULL OF WATER AGAIN! Guess I'll have to post a new thread for this one.

I got some on my car after I cleared my headlights. It comes off it just took a few washes and some bug and tar remover.
