Default Should I buy these mud flaps?

I'm tired of the bonneville getting dirty from the mud and dirt slinging from the tires, so I saw these cool mudflaps that has PONTIAC written on theme in chrome (or chrome substitute), made for the bonneville. I asked my older brother what he thought and he said he would not acknowledge me as his brother if I install mud flaps. But I think he must have thought I was talking about semi truck mud flaps with the naked ladies or something...anyway would these look cool on the Bonnie, Yay or Nay?

Also today I had a new battery installed at Pepboys, my car had a hard time starting up with these cold temps and according to the OM (page 98 voltmeter), it was time to replace it.

mudflaps do not look good IMO.. but they do what you want them to.. so in that sense, they are good
