Default rust!

underneath the side skirt you should have seen the giant rust hunks that came out.

i cleaned that up with a screwdriver and wire brush, then sprayed rust-oleum stuff on it. the clips to hold it up were broken, and we dont plan to take it off again so we put a bit of construction glue stuff in there and re-attached it. duct tape is there untill it dries. w

some rust on the side. i didnt want to take this down to the rust and take all that paint off, i think it would look worse. plus i dont have any touch-up paint. so i jsut sprayed this with the clear rustoleum.

speaks for itself... i am planning on putting some sheet metal on the inside for now

the fender was cracked through when we bought it, so we took a license plate, glued it to the back and put sheet metal screws into the license plate.
works for now

the overall shot with the dog looking on

and the 97 SE

any tips on how to deal with that bubbly paint/rust on the side?
