removing junk yard chalk from paint
I numbers that were put on the hood of my 95 from the junk yard are not coming off. I have the majority off, but in some lights I can still see where the numbers were. I have claybared it, and used a cleaner wax. Any other ideas?

You may not like this idea, but....
1500 grit, then 2k grit wet sandpaper, then buff. You may get away with just using the 2k grit.
Practice on a junk panel if you still have them laying around.

I wish you were closer to me Haro. I would wetsand the trouble areas and buff the whole car out for you. Those numbers would be gone and the car would look like new. Maybe find a detailer in your area?
