Hello,

I have corrosion on my wheels as you can see in my picture. Is there a way to remove that and bring back the shiny finish?
I was thinking about sanding it all clean and painting the whole wheel with gold or silver and a clearcoat.
Any advise or how to get either done would be appreciated

Its funny you asked. I was actually taking a break from sanding my second rim. This is my second time re sanding as the clear coat decided to chip away. This time i decided to purchase a higher qaulity clear coat apposed to the motor master i used before. Its a long process but definatly worth it in the end.

Here you go:
This was my experience of re-finishing some gold cross lace rims.
A whole lot of sanding and elbow grease was needed!

A wire wheel comes in handy for getting the real stubborn stuff, then sand by hand using finer grits as you go to polish 'em up!
