Default Remove rust stain on paint for $1

Had a rust stain for some time on the rear left door of the Bonny. Went to the Dollar Tree, bought a $1 bottle of "The Works" toilet bowl cleaner. Put a little bit of the cleaner on a sponge, and in 5 seconds the stain was gone. Also used more of the cleaner to get rid of the hard water stains on the shop toliet.

About time a $1 purchase went a long way!

I was at the super market the other day. I thought to myself I wonder if this stuff would remove rust stains from paint. Sure enough is does. That is good to know.

That is some nasty stuff.(acid based) Wouldn't CLR be a little safer? Though the 2 are still acid based, but CLR is a weaker mix.

Took a calculated risk and it worked. Tried other things with no success. Waxing the Bonny now. The Bonny is eleven years old, not a new vehicle. It worked out.
