Re-clearing aluminum rims
I got my new rims today. There is a little corrosion around where the where the wheel weights were...(I'm getting the weights on the inside of the rim) I'm going to clean the spots down with some ultra fine wet/dry sandpaper...(My father did this on some rims on his truck and they look great) Can I reclear the rims after I do this? Does anyone know who makes rims for GM? Keystone maybe?

I don't know if this helps, but i used base metal clear coat on my exhaust bezels and they corroded right through the clearcoat like nothing had been done.
