If he opened up the underside, it would give plenty of clearance for a big intercooler.
I would be concerned about the long term bond between the fibreglass and the aluminum and would carefully close the hood every time.

Too bad it would never happen. :(
Just not enough Bonne buyers to make a mold and mass production a reality....like it is with GP'*. Way more of them.
We would probably need like 50 to make it worth someones investment to make it happen.

Well, check out my thread about a-pillar gauge mounts in the Bonneville gear thread. I KNOW we can get 20 people for that!

But, I guess you are right. The only way to do things such as hoods is to do it ourselves. Where there is a will, there is a way!!
