Default Question about Wiper blades

So after winter this year, much of it being stupid ice and such, my wiper blades are kinda "meh" now... I am looking for replacements.

I had a friend recommend Rain-x Latitudes as they have good reviews and such. but I wanted to ask you guys, my fellow members on Bonneville club, if any of you have them and what you think of them? Are they honestly worth the money, or is it a marginal difference for a major price difference over normal blades?

Please let me know...

Thanks,
Michael

I don't have the Rain-X brand, but I do have some very similar in design though. I love them, they work great!! I paid like $13 a piece for them. the best thing about them in my opinion is that they work at highway speeds (70 - 85 mph) without lifting off of the windshield as there are no support arms to catch the wind

I have the Rain X ones and there crap.

Might I also suggest if you are going to use them get a smaller one for the passenger side as the end just doesnt hit the window.

I will not buy them again.

You saying that about missing a spot is kinda funny cause i read that elsewhere on the net so now I have more than 1 person to base it off of...

I just ordered Bosch MicroEdge Excel...they seemed very high quality. Hopefully they turn out well...the Rain-x were just too expensive and getting mixed results for me to justify around $20+ each.

There are two Rain X ones

The ones you tried most likely where the crappy ones.

The new Style that they are talking about are the Frameless ones.

Bosch
Rain=X
Michelin

all make them, there are a few other brands also.

This is what they look like.

I Have the Michelin ones and they KICK A$$!!!!

80MPH and they do NOT streak or skip

They are $15 each at walmart.

I have even considered writing a letter to Transport Canada and to rain X about them cause seriously they are garbage.

I have had the valeo ultimate wiper blades on my civic for almost 2 years and I love them. They are similiar in design to the rain-x latitude blades and work really well at highway speeds and up. And i'm thinking about getting a set soon for the bonneville since the ones I have on there are crap. But has anyone had any expericence with the piaa super sporza silicone wiper blades w/spoiler?
