"hologram" effect
I have read somewhere on here about after you polish or wax you can get a hologram effect. :? Does anyone know what I am talking about? I just got done using a clay bar on my car, washing again, applying megiuars cleaner polish and then another coat today. It looks amazing! The only thing is if you look at it just right you can kind of see what I describe as hologram looking effects. If you rub hard you can kind of get them out. If I were to use an orbital buffer on low speed, could/would these come out? Thanks!

In other circles, this is also known as "angel hair"
Claybar first (and do NOT get the Liquid Claybar that Turtle Wax sells for their "Ice" lineup. It sucks a$$). Actually, wash first. Claybar second.
Wash again.
Use any polish (not wax) of your choosing. I usually use Megs, but I found Zymol does a nice job on removing light swirls. Use the orbital, and when it starts to haze, spray some detailer spray and orbital again. Let dry.
Buff with microfiber cloth. I usually just set the cloth flat, put the orbital on it, and let the buffer do the work.
Liquid Glass. Let cure for a few hours. Wipe off.
Be amazed

I was going to buy some liquid glass. Is that considered a light polish? My car is so incredibly smooth right now, I just want to remove the light swirls. So, would the liquid glass and a ROB finish my car?

I haven't used LG, but I doubt it. Get some good polish online, or go to a local body shop supplier and get some of the Meg'* Professional line (tan bottle). I think #83 is the fine polish, but ask them. Or you could try the Megs Step 2 Polish found at any local store (burgandy bottle). I've used it, and it'* pretty weak, but it might do the trick. But if you have, or are getting a polisher I wouldn't bother. Just get the good stuff.
