Oh I forgot to add, remember, i do believe that your gen ALREADY has a problem with premature hood rust, the last thing you want to do is trap water in it so that it can rust faster. Not a good idea if you ask me.

It'* not rust because the hood is aluminum so it doesn't rust perse.

I agree, no bra. In my experience of driving on the highway every day, my entire hood is littered with chips on my old car. So unless you plan to cover the entire hood, I really don't see a point to using a bra.

i had a bra on an old z28 iroc.. ( stop laughing )

and it trapped too much gunk.. not to mention salt and crud during cold weather.

I use the full bra because I drive a lot and I leave it off in the winter but on long trips or traveling on roads that I know has a lot of gravels that can be kicked up, I"ll put it on.
