anyone know what i can use to make the engine compartment look oily/ shiny looking? saw few guys do but no idea what they use
First degrease the engine compartment and clean it all down.
Second let it dry or use a air gun to dry it all off.
Then after its all good and dry, spray tire shine all over the parts you want shinny.
Last thing I do is take the air gun and lightly blow air all over the tire shine to completely surround the components its on and your done. The air will evenly spread the tire shine all over.
Looks really shinny!

Basically, a bottle of simple green, and a roll of paper towels, a lot of time. That'* about it. Start on one end and start cleaning. When that'* done I use armor all wipes to shine it up.
I use Black Magic 2 in 1 Engine Shine. It cleans and then leaves a nice shine. If you cleaned the engine bay in awhile, Simple Green it first, dry it out and then use the Black Magic.
