Default Planning on some body work. What do you guys think?

So I am planning on getting my cars body back in good shape after this winter is over. I've went in to a body shop and sent emails to local shops and have gotten quotes ranging from 600-2000 dollars (600-650 without paint). What do you guys think of these dents, and the quotes? Anyone have any good experiences in the New York Metro Area (Lower part of NY, CT, PA, NJ)?

Well, honestly i think its not worth it, alt east not worth it from economical point of view. however we all have something we value, and sometimes the sentimental value overcomes all rational thinking.

I've considered that too. But I feel like I will be keeping this car for the long term, and I kinda want it to look good. Maybe it'll look better after a carwash anyway. Its not like it got those dents and dings from parking lot duty, it WAS a police car. Those dents build character.

From what I see those prices arn't that bad. It'* going to take a lot of work. I would probably charge over a grand.

The fenders and hood you could do yourself if you're handy enough. Just find the same color impala in a junkyard with a non-dented fender and hood and swap them on.
