Try getting it warm (hair dryer or heat gun) and picking at it with a fingernail This will remove it if it'* a decal type. If it'* painted on, well... You know....

I have a remedy much warmer than that.. It'* usually used to get shrink-wrapping called 'Mono-Kote' around RC airplane wings.. It will reach temps of 200-240*. Will that work any better ?

too hot... you may damage the paint.
hair dryer will work just fine. and most likely once you start to peal,
it will come right off.

My uncle has a tip to put on a buffer to buff pinstripes off. Looks kinda like a pencil eraser. I may try the heat-trick, though. My stripes are coming off.

You can heat it, or not as the case may be. Mine came off pretty easy just picking at it on a sunny day. (Even enlisted the help of my daughter and her friend)

Trick is, don't try to peel it too fast. Just pick a edge, and peel it back on itself a inch or so per minute (give the adhesive time to pull cleanly off the paint.) Then wipe off the rest with adhesive remover or acetone.
