red = FTL

IF anything then go Black. that will go very well with the grey deck

Was thinking either black or chrome cause I have that still from my grille I did. I think red is out cause of the interior and rear deck color.

If you paint it black, get it in either a flat or satin...and it could be any type of spray paint if it is just going on metal.

If you want "different", look into seeing if you can have a Pontiac symbol stenciled out, and paint a "ghost" image onto the grill....one shade lighter or darker than the base coat.
