Painting Oil Cap
I want to put a logo on my oil cap but I need to know what type of paint to use. Since the heat of the engine may bubble most paints.

have you thought about going to a sign shop and having a vinyl decal made? i've done vinyl on several different motors before, and they've held up fine. a sign shop probably wouldn't charge much more than $25 for something like that.

DON'T use BBQ paint as suggested earlier in the topic.
Use high temp (500 degree or better) ENGINE paint. Auto parts store. Mask off the entire base and o-ring first.
