Take it off, cut out the patterns, and insert mesh so it can't trap heat on your engine.

he is saying. in your photoshop pic cut out the grey part and fill in with mesh.

otherwise. go for it. if you dont like the results you vcan always repaint.

Keep in mind, plastic does not like ot hold paint, even if it'* paint made for plastic. Plastic needs to be treated a certan way to hold paint. And most plastic is not made that way. Injected plastic is almost never treated this way. It will scratch VERY easy. You can make it llok really nice, but you will have to take an lot of extra care when cleaning and handling it.
