Default Newb + clearing taillights =

. actually, im just clearing the blinkers/orange reflector. or trying to. heres my first couple of F'ups:
Notice the double cut on top of the light(bottom in pic)

I just cut up too close to the edge the first time, couldnt get through
and this one, i just cut too wide("*****'d it out"? :P )

and this one, i dont think my light will recover from

i just stuck my screwdriver in and tried to pull it apart at the wrong place. i wonder how much that cost me.

Ive thought about clearing the tails too, but does anyone have step by step pictures of it? I believe someone had step by steps for clearing the fronts.

Thats what i was thinking, that would've helped me thinks.
edit: i suggest what i was thinking in the first place for people who are not sure they can tackle this(it is more involved than the fronts). FIND A SPARE TAILLIGHT ASSEMBLY FIRST! from a salvage yard, etc! i gotta take this to a carshow with a Gorbachev blotch on the taillight. YAY!

you got a pm, yo.

check it out, i made them toally clear

:P
actually, i finished them, as i was putting them on, set my keys on the side of the trunk. forgot about them and then shut the trunk on them. after using two screwdrivers to pry it up enuf to get the key off the ring, i have an awsome scrape job on the side of my trunk now. i only slightly messed up the center piece, it should be covered up by Night shades tint pretty soon. ill have a pic up tommorow.
