Default New valve cover breather

I just put on a ZZP valve cover breather for looks. Should I leave it dry, or put some K&N filter oil on it?

Believe it or not, that does not pull air inwards.. Pushes it outwards.. brother has one on his 2K4 MCSS Supercharged.. i got bored and put a zip-loc baggy on it, held it around it with my hands, and it didn't suck the bag onto it.. pushed it out like a baloon

so, no.. don't spend $9 on filter oil when it doesn't pull in
