I don't think any of your car'* generation have done HID'*. Smellbird did to his earlier Gen.

Lucky for you, living in MA, you're in 2000+ clear-corner central. I think the NE-sters did 2 cars at the last meet?

i cant help you too much with the HIDs, however, i believe another recent new member with a 2000+ has them, maybe if you search around the site you could find something about it

for the clear corners, i have done my front and rears (ive actually done 5 sets of fronts) The fronts are very easy with a heatgun, a screwdriver and a 10mm wrench, i can do them in about 30minutes for the pair. The rears are another story. i did mine. and they SUCK to do... i wouldnt do it again, i would rather spend the money on a set of GXP taillights then clear them again

this will give you an idea of how the lights look when done
(please excuse the mess, the car is dirty in these pics)

HID'* w/o projectors are technically illegal. And are NOT very kind to other drivers on the road. If you plan to do a projector retrofit there are a few of us here considering it.

projectors can not be done... There isnt enough room behind the headlamp assembly to fit the projectors, unless they are mounted DEEP inside the headlamp. I scrapped the idea..

its a do it yourself job, you have to remove the lights and take them appart to remove the amber inserts.. the fronts are siliconed together and the rears have to be cut open with a dremel or other similar tooling.

ive been thinking about making the headlights myself and selling them on ebay and to club members..

the clear headlights and tails were made by Toasty....you cannot but them....all you have to do is remove the amber part of the lens.....

you wont be able to get HID'* from the dealer.......you can Try Silverstars in the 00+ but they have had a high failure rate
