It has been a while since I put in my two cents so here it goes. I just bought the Mothers Powerball Mini and all I can say is WOW!!! I would recomend everybody buy ten of these things (Not really ten since you can clean them and reuse them) At least for the 2000 rims it works wonders. It did 10 times a better job than cleaning by hand! I also played around in the engine compartment and polished a few items there as well. So jsut for anyone wondering this product gets my four stars!!

Sorry, no pics. Camera was unavailable at the time. I was so eager to try the product out that I couldn't wait for my camera. Now that I know what it can do I will be prepared with a camera next time..

Where did you get yours? I have actually been looking for one of these for months now. Saw one once, at AZ, when I was w/o money for it, but haven't seen one since.

Big fan of the Powerball. Low cost provider is Advance Auto stores $20.

It is incredibly durable and bends,folds, forms into about any shape or crevasse you need it to. Turns cleaning/polishing my '95s five slots wheels into a minute or 2 a piece. It'* durable sponge and you expect little pieces of sponge to fly all over the place. Nope.

With your fav plastic polish or light compound, it quickly brings back light covers and bumpers to crystal. For hand polishers, it knocks the white coat right off and you can finish by hand. White powder or polish in trim edge? It sneaks in and gets if off in a second. Door jambs, hinges... just shove it in there to get to crud.

Mine has thrived on abuse, and has not held any polish, compound, or touchup paint. Soap and water cleanup and it looks the same as when I bought it in November.

wait.. how does it work.. do you need to have air tools for it?? i could not imagine it working well enough on a battery powered drill.. or something similar.

Yep. A power drill. Not well enough for what? It'* not going to replace a high speed finish buffer for a new paint job. it'* strength is in it'* durability and flexibility.

BTW, just saw their new mini-ball today with a 6 in. extension.

Anyone used one for the inside of their exhaust tips?

I wouldnt use the same one I used for my rims. Id get a brand new one for that, less any particles from the exhaust get embedded in the powerball next time you go throught and polish your rims and have brand-new swirlys.
