molding by windows

the rubber molding by my windows on my SE is pitted and dull what can I do to restore it?

You can try 303 Aerospace Protectant to stop further decay. Only takes a minute after a wash.

Mother'* Back-to-Black does an O.K. job of bringing shine to dulled plastic and rubber, but its not magic.

the 2000+ door moldings dont just dull, they pit and fade BADLY, there is no way to restore them

on my 01, the paint is actually peeling off the molding! Looks like hell on an otherwise perfect car. Any idea how much it costs to replace and how much of a pita it is?
