i still have to do the other side then run to Canadian Tire and grab up some 3157 Orange LED'*. It wasn't hard to get them apart just had to let'em warm up a little. 4 pairs of latex gloves later 2 beers and 5 smokes im half way there....

Looks great, you can dust the bulbs with a fine mist of silver paint to hide the amber. It will still shine through

If you're getting LED'* like you mentioned your stock flashers might not work with them. I'm not the expert on the matter though.

Get the Silverstars corner bulbs, looks way better, but i dont know where to get them (someone will chim in and tell ya )

looks much better then the old stock orange

You have to get those bulbs either in the US at a Autozone, or order them on line. I haven't found anyone who sells them retail in Canada yet. I hope you put some cardboard or paper between the bumper and the headlight before you pulled them.....avoids a lot of scratches! 20 mins in the oven at 200 degrees and they pull apart no sweat!!!! Nice job Rob!

Ive been thinking about doing this if I do get a 00+. Isn't it illegal to not have the front reflective piece in? And has anyone tried keeping the orange in the side but taking it out in the front like this?

yes it is illegal to remove it but i dont know of anyone who has even ever been second guessed because of it

and you know what, that might not look too bad, but i wouldnt bother, if im taking part of the amber out, it all comes out
