Crap dude, I looked all over but I can't find it so I don't remember the name of what I used. Started with a V and Autozone carries it. There are 2 bottles: 1 cleaner(orange), 1 conditioner(brown).

Everyone else is curious what to use as well. :P
Try using the "Search" function, there are a lot threads asking that with a lot of suggestions.
For vinyl you can just use a little bit of mild soap and water, then go over it with protectant. I've been using Meguiar'* NXT Generation Tech Protect and can't say enough good things about it. Keeps any vinyl/plastic type material clean for months.

Myself I use Meguiars one step cleaner and conditioner, leaves my seats soft and clean and has a nice fragrance. as far as vinyl/plastic cleaner I use a diluted mixture of Simple Green and water to clean it before I apply protectant.

I know you said it started with a V but are you thinking of "Lexol"? it comes in an orange cleaner bottle and a brown conditioner bottle.

I use Bluemagic Leather and Vinyl cleaner, and Bluemagic Leather Cream Conditioner once a week on my seats. Works excellent, and keeps the leather nice and soft.

Even says on the bottles - "Guaranteed best you can buy!"

I think most cleaners and conditioners seem to work fine. I think it comes down to preference of smell. Lexol is one of the higher recommended picks. I have a bottle of Meguiars clean/conditioner and it seems to do it'* job. But I haven't been very good at keeping after it until the last year or so, so I'm not much help on how well it keeps the leather looking good over the years.
