Default looking to get new rims. Fitment question

Ok, so I might have found a good deal on rims, but I need to figure out if they fit my car. here are the details:

18 x 8.5
5x115mm
35mm offset

will these fit?

Also, I will need to get tires for them. what size should I go with, and what brand do people recommend?

thanks.

I really need to know about the Offset. I have used the search and found people say that ours is +42 and some say +38. Another said +36 to +40 was the most to get without issue, but yet another stated that if the rim is wider, that the necessary offset might change.

Anyone want to clarify this for me?
