Default a little detailing work after accident

I gave her a real good hand washing the other day and kept looking at those
ugly scratches along my passenger side from the accident.
(no she hasnt been fixed yet.even though I recieved the check)
so im thinking how much worse can I make it look if I was to use a very fine grade steel wool
with soapy water to remove some of the paint rub.
did a little at first and said hmmm that looks better. now as I.m drying her I said to my self
what the hell. keep going.

there is a slight inward dent at the front fender.can be seen near my SLE badge.
also still need a rear back rocker panel. as well as a little touchup paint.

got her home and did see where I was a little agressive with the pad but 2 coats of wax took care of that.
Im now looking at it with a huge grin on my face saying I think I'll take the money and run.
this looks pretty damn good

and any of us white car owners know what the door handle fingernail scratches look like.
well it did a great job there as well. (sorry no before pic)

You know, Tom would have fixed that car up good and new with his dizzying array of waxes and polishes.

Do a bit of performance with that money (lord knows you're going to need it to keep up with Bill...)

Don't do it too often. You're removing a little clearcoat each time you do that. But I have to admit, it'* a vast improvement!

i wouldnt get cheap. removing the clear coat will only cost more farther down the road. think of what it will cost for labor and repaint in a few years when it chips off from no clear coat! Looks good for now though.
