LETS TALK RACING STRIPES ON A 2000+ SE!!!
I have a 2000 bonneville SE its white and i wanna do something different with the paint!
i have CLEARED tails and whas wondering how the car would look with a set of BLACK RACING/RALLY stripes! keep in mind i have chrome 22'*
anyone know whether it would look good or not? i saw a member who had em but i cant seem to find him again!!! THANX IN ADVANCE for the help!!!

I coulda sworn I saw a guy with a newer body bonnie on this site wit racing stripes
in the pics he was driving thru mud almost looked like he was offroading?

But they would only be a very dark candy apple red that blends with the black.
Anyway, I'll try to remember to post pics this weekend when I'm home... I have tons. They were SS stripes inspired from numerous Chevelle SS cars I looked at at car shows. Make sure to get them clear coated so they blend with the hood. The first time around I didn't have the cash so we (we being me and the shop owner) taped, sanded, and painted. Then I started to have some problems with the paint chipping on sharp curves of the body. In a strange way hitting a deer fixed this problem because my insurance covered it and they were repainted, but this time clear coated.
Not sure what design would look good on a 2000+ because the body curves are drastically different than the 92-99 body.
Oh BTW, that 94 is still around somewhere in Belvidere, IL.
