Default LED tails?

on some of the newer cars they re using LED tails.. i saw in a commercial how they light up like 7 tenths of a second faster than our traditional bulbs which blah blah blah leads to like an extra 20 feet or something if your so far away. anyways.. are there any ways to convert our tails into LED tails, obv with some work?

yes its possible, how good it looks depends on how much time and money you want to put into the project.

considering the cost/work necessary, I don't see how LED'* are worth it since we dont have clear taillights. Is the bulb turning on faster that cool of a mod? someone justify please!

LED'* have a much smaller time to go from off to full brightness. On bulbs the filiment has to heat up and that takes much more time than the LED.

LED'* are also generally brighter, they draw less current and they look cooler.

Doesn't matter if they are not clear. The red will shine though just as well

Plus, from the standpoint of this question, I believe the point is safety rather than coolness factor.

Value is relative to the intent of the viewer.

If you just want to plug and playish...

Just get the bulbs form www.Autolumination.com

I have them in my SE. there brighter then the stock bulbs in my SSEi

But in any car with a bulb monitor it may make it see the bulb as bad.
