I use Son of a Gun, I think that'* what it'* called. It'* in a yellow can/black top with a pic of Richard Petty on it. You just spray it on and leave it alone. 2 coats and your tires look wet. I've never had any fling off. Fairly cheap, to.

No one has mentioned it yet but make sure that you have the tires clean and let them dry completely. Go back apply a coat to tires let sit come back check for dry spots reapply if needed, wipe off extra.
Spraying it works well but the over spray sucks have to clean rims again, so what I have found is get a 2.5-3in wide brush and use that to apply the tire shine this will allow you to cover every spot and keep the tire shine off the rims.

Tire Wet (the good smelling stuff, as mentioned) is made by Black Magic. Any thing I use has been mentioned already I think, including Zep from a dealership.
To whoever was saying to spray truck bedliner, are you talking about on your tires on on the wheel well? If you're spraying truck bedliner (rubberized undercoating) on a wheel well, you want to make sure you let it dry for a LONG time, put fans on it and all before spraying with this, otherwise it will trap in water and create a rust formation. If you're spraying it directly onto your tires, I guess that'* the craziest thing I've ever heard of using but here'* to ya if it works.
Just my .02.

John - ...you're not putting it on the tread, right?
I've used 1/2 the brands listed here...applied with a black sponge appicator that came with the Mequires purple gel stuff.
