Default How to rejuvinate black trim

Anyone know what product to use in order to rejuvinate the trim around all the windows. My 97 now lives in MN bought from from the tip of Florida and all black trim is sun parched. I saw something about dielectric grease on a parts web page but not sure what to use.

I would probably use tire shine.

use a non scented hand soap, just a tiny bit and run it on the black trim, then wipe off excess, it brings the balck back in seconds, meguirs also makes a product for trim

Try Peanut Butter. You probably have some in your home and it is inexpensive. Just a little on a cloth, wipe it on then wipe it off.

After using Peanut Butter apply some 303 Aerospace Protectant.
